Automatic block cutting for granite

On the columns slides the main bridge which, thanks to the particular connection to the columns, allows a precise and constant cut. The block is set on a platform sliding on rails with a high precision movement.
The cutting phase and the movement of the block holding carriage are programmed and controlled by a computer, which allows high precision during the cut. The vertical discs are equipped with working and translation speeds, while the feed of the material to be cut is given by the movement of the block holding carriage.
The main frame is made up of two columns - double - overdimensioned in which are sliding, by means of a precise linear guide system, the cursors connected to the spindle holding beam. The connection between the cursor and the beam includes a protection belt, for a static seal of the internal parts of the column and a special system which compensate the harmful effects of the thermal expansions.
The spindle holding beam is largely sized for a max stoutness, and houses the precision linear guides, on which the spindle holding carriage slides, protected with a special labyrinth seal system.
