GTG/1600/CNC: Automatic blockcutter for granite
 
This machine is designed to cut blocks of granite into strips using a series of vertical disks and one horizontal disk.
The machine is made up of two vertical columns joined together by means of a very sturdy support beam so as to ensure the stability of the structure.
The main bridge slides along the columns and cutting accuracy is guaranteed thanks to the way in which the bridge is joined to the columns.
The block is placed on a carriage which movesalong a set of rails.
Both the cut and the movement of the block carriage are programmed and controlled by the PLC which ensures the utmost accuracy.
The block-cutter is equipped with a separate horizontal cutting station suitable for the cutting of strips obtained on the vertical disk station.
