Gaspari Menotti carefully studied all marble gang saws traditionally used in order to see which were the more rational and effective. Only then did the Company proceed to design a new machine coherent with modern sawing requirements. The result is a sturdy, reliable gang saw able to reach high production levels which is also very innovative in certain areas. The DGS 2000/2500 gang saws have a block-lifting structure with a blade carriage which moves to a fixed height. The machines are available with a 800 or 1000 mm stroke, 80 or 100 blades and a cutting width of 2 or 2.5 m.

Kit taglio Filagne Marmo
Tramite l'applicazione di uno speciale kit vi è la possibilità di aggiungere al telaio DGS2000 la capacità di tagliare faldoni (cioè blocchi di altezza ridotta, max. 89cm, aventi le facce superiore ed inferiore piane e parallele tra loro).
Il dispositivo sfrutta nella prima fase di taglio un sistema a "vacuum" per il bloccaggio del materiale, che dato il peso ridotto tenderebbe altrimenti a seguire il movimento delle lame, coadiuvato nella seconda fase (quando le lame siano penetrate per intero nel faldone) da una coppia di pressatori a reazione idraulica.
Il passaggio da una tipologia di taglio all'altra , viene effettuato tramite l'applicazione o la rimozione dei soli due elementi pressatori ; questi risultano vincolati al telaio per mezzo di perni a sgancio rapido.
L' operazione risulta quindi estremamente semplice e veloce
