Gang saw with descent of the blade frame during cutting and the block in a fixed position.
The flywheel is balanced and is 3.2 m in diameter.
The flywheel shaft is made of high resistance forged steel while the cam and pivot are made of a special alloy to ensure total resistance to stress.
The flywheel is mounted on large barrel roller bearings lubricated with grease. The supports are rectangular in shape and ensure the best anchorage of the flywheel at its foundations.
The connecting rod is made from a single piece of steel.The blade frame is made entirely of high resistance steel and its dimensions ensure total stability and resistance to load stress.
The sliding system incorporates special sliding blocks on hardened and ground rails. The system is lubricated by means of an oil bath; the tubs and covers are completely waterproof. No maintenance is required for these parts.
The steel uprights are equipped with an automatic lubricating system for the descent screws and vertical rails. The surfaces of the sliding carriages for the uprights are covered in a wear-resistant material and special interchangeable hardened steel strips ensure that the vertical guides are not subject to wear. Bellows made of a synthetic material protect the rails and feed screws from external polluting agents.
The downfeed unit is equipped with a motor reduction unit with clutch controlled by an inverter.
The transmission units for the feed screws have casehardened gleason gears.
